President's Message
Jack Miller, President HPROA

Letter from the President

I just want to express what an honor it is to be in this position.  I know that I have a hard act to follow.  The four people who have served this association as President before me have given so very much of their time, effort and energy.  Their contribution has helped our association grow into such a tremendous organization.  Regardless of the effort and energy any President might contribute, it is not the President that makes an organization, it is the membership.  So, whatever success our association enjoys in the next year, and I am sure we will enjoy much, it will not be because of anything I may or may not do—it will be because of the members of this association.  However, I do pledge to put forth my utmost effort to serve and represent the members of this association in an honorable and professional manner.

I am not going to set a bunch of goals for us to attempt to meet.  I guess goals are ok, but if we fail to achieve those goals in the next year it would turn us into losers.  This association has never been a loser and never will be, especially on my watch.  Instead of goals, I have a wish list.  First, I want our membership numbers to increase to over 1400.  Second, I want our monthly attendance to increase to over an average of 125 members per meeting.  Third, I just want our ship to continue to sail on calm waters.

Again, I can’t tell you what an honor it is for me to serve this association as President.  As I serve, I will know that I serve each and every one of you.   God bless you all and may He show you grace and favor throughout this next year.
