Well folks, the Hill Country Reunion set a record this year. My count was 187 Retirees and guest. Last year we had 165...Good food, good location and good friends keep people coming back.
Lamar Kimble was "out of commission" with his busted knee and of course Dee had to spend all of her time taking care of him. (He's sorta spoiled anyway) I want to thank all of the folks that stepped up and filled in for them. Phil & Margie Frank, Jerry & Carole DeFoor, D.A. & Myrna Miller and my "other half", Dot.
The catfish was great and there was plenty of it..The weather could not have been any nicer..
There were 33 R.V.'s in the park and we have reserved 36 spaces for next year..

This was my last Reunion as Entertainment Chairman for the HPROA. I want to thank everyone for all the help and co-operation they have given me during my time as Entertainment Chairman. I have really enjoyed working with everyone but feel it is time for some "new ideas" .
D.A.Miller has volunteered to take over and I know he will do a super job..I hope everyone will give him the same support that you have always given me...
