LOIS O. MANDELL, born July 6, 1912, passed away January 20, 2003. Her parents Kenneth and Orienne Mandell, brother Stuart and sister Esther M. Klopp precede her in death. Lois is survived by her nieces: Dorothy Anderson, Mary Escalona, Sandra McNamara, nephews: Kenneth III, Freddie Mandell, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2003 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with Graveside Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Aunt Lois will be remembered as a very caring person, enjoyed the company of her family, helped anybody in need, she retired from Houston Police Department and, was a longtime member of Christ Church Cathedral. Her nieces and nephews will remember Aunt Lois as a loving, perfect southern lady.
