Maurine Savioz Dietz
BAYVIEW, TX — Maurine Savioz Dietz, 88, entered into eternal rest on May 18, 2003 at her residence in Bayview, Texas.
She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Maurine was born in Villa De Guerrero, Mexico on February 2, 1915. She lived most of her life in Houston, Texas where she attended our Savior Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years of marriage, Conrad R. Dietz; one daughter, Rev. Dr. Evelyn D. (Edward) Morris of Bayview, Texas; five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by Lt. Col. Frederic Henri Dietz, U.S. Airforce.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mont Meta/Restlawn/Cox Funeral Home, 2906 S. Expressway 77/83 Harlingen, Texas 78550.
Funeral service will be held at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Harlingen on Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 23, at 10 a.m. at Forest Park Lawndale of Houston, Texas.
