James "Jim" G. Chism: (8-8-11)  HPROA member James "Jim" Chism passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at Memorial Herman SW in Houston. Graduating from HPD class #90, Jim served his entire career in the Patrol Division at the Beechnut Station and retired from that assignment on May 31, 2008 with 28 years of service.  He is survived by his wife, Diana and two daughters, Katherine and Lauren.
 
Visitation will be held from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 1306 W. Main, Brenham, Texas. 979-836-4564
 
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
 
Burial will follow at the Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham, Texas.
