Retired Senior Police Officer
Retired Senior Police Officer Michael Brandon Wright passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at the age of 57. He started his career as a police officer with the City of Houston Airport Police on January 25, 1982. He joined the Houston Police Department on November 14, 1983, Academy Class #117. During his career with the Houston Police Department he was assigned to the Southwest Division, Westside Division, and Homicide Division, retiring on February 10, 2007. [More]

William Jean Watt

William Jean Watt A  member of the HPROA passed away on Thursday, December 01, 2016, at the age of 72. He joined the Houston Police Department on August 26, 1968, Academy Class #39. During his career with the Houston Police Department he was assigned to the Central Division, Crime Analysis Division, Narcotics Division, Northeast Division, Northwest Division, North Division, Internal Affairs Division, Jail Division, Criminal Intelligence Division, West Patrol Command, Westside Division, and Robbery Division, retiring on April 28, 2004.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Esther Watt, who passed away on January 7, 2010.

The body is entrusted with Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077 (281) 497-2330.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at First Colony Church of Christ, 2140 First Colony Boulevard, Sugar Land, Texas 77479 (281) 980-7070, on Saturday, December 10, 2016, starting at 11:00 a.m..

Jean Watt Update Deceased (12-1-16 rh) - We just received information from Jean's daughter, Rebecca, that Jean has been moved to hospice care. She said that she appreciates all the prayers and she asks for continued prayers for peace for Jean and for the family during this difficult transition.  All the love and support has blessed them beyond measure.  They are forever grateful.  She will continue to provide us with updates. Al Blair:(11-4-16) We visited with Al by phone today and he seems to be improving. He said it has been an uphill battle but he feels stronger and steadily getting better. He appears to have a positive attitude and sounded like the Al we all know. He invites our prayers for a strong recovery.

Harry Caldwell:(11-13-16 nf) We visited with Chief Caldwell in his home on 11-10-16. He is now a trim 84 old and appeared to be in good physical health and did not complain of any medical issues. [More]
